The Dynamical Composite Higgs
With the discovery of the Higgs boson, all the degrees of freedom of the Standard Model of Particle Physics (SM) have been experimentally identified. Nevertheless, open questions remain as to the nature of this particle. In particular establishing whether it is point-like down to extremely short distances, or instead a composite state of more fundamental degrees of freedom can shed light on the phenomenon of electroweak symmetry breaking that characterizes the SM. Recently, models of Higgs Compositeness have been widely studied assuming specific symmetry breaking patterns that determine their phenomenology to a large extent. In this seminar I present a possible UV completion for one of the most widely studied scenarios, which exhibits explicitly the Higgs constituents and the interactions that hold them together.
