The cosmic web consists of a network of clusters, filaments and sheets, which cover the Universe on large scales. Its observation with galaxy surveys provides a powerful way to constrain cosmological models. However, this

approach is hampered by the fact that galaxies are biased tracers of the underlying large-scale structures, which

are dominated by dark matter. This problem can be tackled with galaxy bias models, which describe the mapping
between the distribution of galaxies and dark matter. I will present recent efforts in testing and advancing these bias models using cosmological simulations.
